Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, helping customers and drivers. You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment, keeping areas clean and safe while following Love’s safety policies.

The position requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in various temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts as needed. A medical card through DOT can be obtained with Love’s support.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
