Job summary

Waste Pro is hiring Diesel Technicians for our Fulton Industrial location in Atlanta, GA. The role includes diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks, with exposure to CNG and hybrid fleets.

A $5,000 retention bonus is paid over the first year, plus tools allowance and ASE certification support. We offer comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, 401k, vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks.
• Work with diesel, gasoline, CNG and hybrid systems as needed.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certification with company support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs to maximize safe, productive operations.
• Communicate with managers/drivers about vehicle issues and preventive techniques.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
