Job summary
Dollar General Fleet is seeking Diesel Technicians in Blair, NE to ensure trucks, trailers, and yard tractors meet safety and federal standards. The role requires at least 1 year of Class A experience, with hands-on work on air brakes, hydraulics and electrical systems; welding and fabrication experience is preferred.

Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working on Class A trucks.
- Experience with air brakes, hydraulic & electrical systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience required.
- Tire repair experience preferred.
- Perform DOT inspections and compliance checks.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components (doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems).
- Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment and complete repair orders.
- Maintain fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability (tractors, trailers, lift-gates).
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Assist drivers with vehicle issues and repairs.
