Job summary

Dollar General Fleet is hiring Diesel Technicians in Blair, NE to ensure trucks, trailers and yard tractors are in top condition and compliant with federal standards.

Earn $24.00-$35.00 per hour, paid weekly, with a comprehensive benefits package, company-provided tools at no cost, paid vacation and holidays, and access to the newest technology and equipment. Prior welding and fabrication experience is preferred and one year of experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working on Class A trucks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components (doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems).
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment and complete repair orders.
• Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers, yard tractors and related equipment.
• Follow safety rules and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues.
