Job summary

NFI is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to maintain and repair our dedicated fleet. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on tractors and trailers using JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows, while performing preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Technical degree or 2+ years maintenance experience.
Familiar with troubleshooting equipment repairs with diagnostic tools such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and diagnostic equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers.
Conduct DOT inspections per FMCSA guidelines.
Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 75 lbs and working in various positions.
