Job summary

NFI in Paulsboro is seeking a diesel mechanic to maintain and repair our dedicated fleet. You will diagnose issues with JPRO and OEM software, perform preventive maintenance, and support DOT inspections on a proven fleet.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
Technical or 2+ years of maintenance experience
Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
Excellent problem-solving skills
Examples of teamwork and customer service, including good oral and written communication

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer issues using diagnostic equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on fleet of tractors & trailers
Perform DOT inspections per FMCSA guidelines
Physically capable of lifting/pulling 75 lbs or more, standing or lying for extended periods, and flexible movement to reach equipment
