Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc in Miami is seeking a Diesel Technician B (Advanced Technician) to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy‑duty trucks and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, advance repairs, and collaborate with Master Technicians to maximize uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience with diesel systems, a valid CDL, and relevant ASE certifications or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience maintaining or repairing diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and basic tool set.
• ASE certifications, Brake Certification, and CDL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, transmissions, and air brake systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections to maximize reliability of trucks and equipment.
• Repair and maintain refuse trucks, vocational vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify equipment failures.
• Weld, fabricate, and perform component repairs when qualified.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
