Job summary

Republic Services in Dallas, TX offers a two-year Technician Apprenticeship to train entry-level technicians in electrical diagnostics, air systems, hydraulics, wheels, and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment.

Participants will attend nine weeks of paid training at the Technical Institute, followed by twenty-two months of hands-on OJT, with mentorship and potential advancement to Level C Technician within the company.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule to include some nights/weekends/holidays.
• Willingness to uphold company values including safety, ethics and respect.
• Willingness to travel to and live in Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training.

Responsibilities

• Complete two-year Technician Apprenticeship with on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Participate in six training areas including electrical, air systems, hydraulics, brakes and preventive maintenance.
