Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will interpret diagnostic results, plan repairs with the Service Advisor, and perform repairs safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent trade/tech training.
• Willingness to expand knowledge via education and training.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Strong communication and diagnostic aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform diagnostic tests and develop repair plans.
• Communicate repair plans to Service Advisor.
• Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and to standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Offer TA services during inspections and recommendations.
• Ensure safety of customers and employees.
