Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers, delivering accurate, efficient service in line with company standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, willingness to learn, ability to work unsupervised, and flexible hours including nights and weekends. Tools owned by the candidate are required. The pay range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with strong benefits.

• Willingness to expand professional knowledge via education and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results; communicate repair plan to Service Advisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend additional TA services during inspections.
• Ensure safety of customers and employees.
