Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers in a fast-paced shop environment. You will troubleshoot, interpret results, and communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or mechanic certs preferred.
• Willingness to expand knowledge via training programs.
• Ability to work unsupervised and handle flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform diagnostic testing and develop repair plans with Service Advisor.
• Complete repairs safely, efficiently and in line with standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend TA services during inspections.
