Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers. You will troubleshoot, communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor, and complete repairs efficiently while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with trade/technical schooling or prior mechanic experience preferred. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers to meet standards.
• Perform diagnostic testing and communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor.
• Repair malfunctioning parts, keeping safety and quality in mind.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support TA services suggestions.
• Ensure safety of customers and employees during service.
