Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Southington, CT, invites you to join as a Diesel Technician Apprentice. You will enter a structured training program aimed at building the core skills for a diesel maintenance career, while mentored by experienced technicians.

Upon completion, you advance to a Diesel Technician role, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our trucks and trailers. This position includes tuition reimbursement, tool reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or active student enrolled in a diesel technology program.
• Own a set of basic tools.
• Willingness to learn and grow abilities.
• Ability to work all three shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, you will participate in a training program designed to build the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in diesel maintenance. Working alongside experience technicians. you will receive structured training, personalized mentorship, and hands-one experience service Pyle's fleet. Upon successful completion of the program, you will advance to a Diesel Technician role, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our trucks and trailers.
