A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in York County is looking for a Diesel Technician Apprentice to join their training program. You will work closely with skilled technicians, gaining hands-on experience while learning how to perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or active student in a Diesel Technology program.
• Own a set of basic tools.
• Ability to work all shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, and electrical components.
• Diagnose and perform necessary repairs on engines and exhaust systems.
• Inspect and replace components as required.

As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, you will participate in a training program designed to build the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in diesel maintenance. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will receive structured training, personalized mentorship, and hands‑on experience servicing Pyle's fleet. Upon successful completion of the program, you will advance to a Diesel Technician role, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and perform necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after‑treatment systems
• Inspect and replace general components as required

Qualifications

• A recent graduate or active student currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program of study in Diesel Technology and/or a recent graduate
• Own a set of basic tools
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work all three shifts, as needed
