Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is looking for an aspiring Forklift Mechanic to join the Apprentice program in the Chester County area.

The Forklift Technician Apprentice will receive structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in diesel maintenance, with a clear path to a Diesel Technician role. You will learn routine preventative maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks, with exposure to brakes, air systems, electrical components, and exhaust after-treatment systems.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary program in Diesel Technology or related field in progress or completed.
• Own a set of basic tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and grow; ability to work all three shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

Working alongside experience technicians. you will receive structured training, personalized mentorship, and hands-one experience service Pyle's fleet. Upon successful completion of the program, you will advance to a Diesel Technician role, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our trucks and trailers.

• Ability to work all three shifts, as needed
