A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Southington, CT is seeking an experienced 3rd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team. You will maintain, diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks to keep our fleet on the road.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on experience, owns a full set of heavy-truck tools, and works well independently. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to our employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow abilities; ability to work independently with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 3rd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Southington, CTshop.This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.
