Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a skilled Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll use Penske’s tools to diagnose issues, complete service, and help keep vehicles on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must understand and comply with Penske policies and safety rules (DOT/OSHA).
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, some electrical and cooling system maintenance.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
