Job summary

TCI Transportation is seeking an Experienced Diesel & Reefer Technician in California. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, refrigeration systems, and other major truck/trailer components.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of diesel repair experience, EPA 608/609 certification, and a strong ability to work with minimal supervision. Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, with full benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair and diagnosis of major components in trucks, trailers, and refrigerated trailers.
• Remove or replace major components as directed.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration and A/C systems.
• Diagnose diesel engines and major components.
• Work with Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete repairs within established time standards.

TCI Maintenance – Experienced Diesel & Reefer Technician

If you are an experienced Diesel Mechanic with Reefer repair experience, an expert touch, and attention to detail, WE WANT YOU!

We are looking for an experienced technician with6+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience PLUS Reefer Trailer repair experience. EPA 608/609 Certification is required.

Pay

$38.53 – $43.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Shift

Monday through Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Position Overview

The Technician will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck, trailer, and refrigerated trailer equipment at the direction of the Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.

Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision:

• Diesel engines and major components
• Refrigeration and A/C systems
• Clutches
• PTO Systems
• Electrical Systems
• Hydraulic/Air Brake Systems
• Heating/Air Conditioning Systems
• Instruments and Gauges
• Preventive Maintenance Services

Technicians are measured on their efficiency and ability to completequality repairs within established time standards.

• Experience diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems preferred
