Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a fleet technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will document work orders, ensure roadworthiness, and perform road calls as needed.

The role requires 2+ years of diesel repair experience, PM inspections, electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. Competitive hourly pay, a sign‑on bonus, and benefits start Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of medium to heavy‑duty vehicle repair experience.
• Experience with PMs, tire & wheel, air brakes, diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy‑duty fleet vehicles and trailers.
• Document work orders thoroughly and ensure roadworthiness before road calls.
• Install, replace and repair onboard computers and related components.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and other critical parts; perform necessary replacements.
