Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to service heavy duty vehicles on a third shift (10:00 pm–6:30 am). Earn $30.50 per hour with weekly pay and a broad benefits package.

On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for certification bonuses and quarterly incentives. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, basic tools, and mechanical repair experience. CDL Class A is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
