Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Columbus, Ohio to service heavy‑duty vehicles. The role offers weekly pay, strong benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, with weekends off. Compensation includes $26.50 per hour, a $2,500 sign-on package (30/90 days), and quarterly bonuses up to $500. CDL‑A is preferred; obtain CDL within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of issue.
