Ryder System, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician for the second shift, Tuesday through Saturday, with hours 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Earn $30.46 per hour plus certification and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification, preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including: routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
