Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking skilled heavy-duty truck technicians in Clarksville, TN to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic and related systems on diesel, gasoline and CNG fleets.

The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a monthly tool allowance, health/dental/vision and a 401(k). You will work with top equipment and contribute to safe, reliable operations across our service fleet.

Qualifications

Knowledge of suspension inspection, diagnosis and repair.
Knowledge of brake system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
Knowledge of electrical system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
Knowledge of hydraulic system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
Proficient with diagnostic tools and interpreting service manuals.
Ability to estimate time and materials for repairs.
Ability to provide guidance to Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers.
CDL Class B (preferred within 12 months)

Responsibilities

Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs and maintenance on all equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.
Communicates with managers/drivers as to issues with vehicles and discusses preventive techniques that minimize future repairs.
Completes all required paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
Follows all safety policies and procedures
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Conducts repairs utilizing Factory Service Manuals.
Maintain high standard of Ethics and Dependability.
