Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a dynamic Class A Technician to support our North GA operations.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. We offer a comprehensive pay range based on proven skills and capability, plus a $5,000 retention bonus paid over the first year, and a monthly tool allowance up to $50.

Qualifications

Must be able to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and body components on heavy- and light-duty trucks.
Experience with gasoline, diesel and CNG systems is a plus.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting service manuals.
Ability to estimate repair times and materials accurately.
Ability to guide and assist junior technicians and shop helpers.
CDL Class B is preferred within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on fleet equipment to maximize safety and productivity.
Review DVIRs and repair orders; communicate issues to managers/drivers.
Complete required paperwork in a timely, accurate manner.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
Use vehicle fault codes to initiate or assign repairs.
Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Perform repairs using Factory Service Manuals.
Maintain high ethics and dependability.
