DeVivo Companies in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician to join our team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair a range of medium and heavy-duty vehicles, and follow established processes.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or technical training and at least one year of repair experience; possess basic hand tools, computer skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical school, or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
• Ability to own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Proficiency with computer operations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct diagnostic and repair work on a variety of vehicle types.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders and parts usage forms accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members and customers.
• Remain current on all technical and regulatory requirements.
• Perform road service calls as required.
