Job summary

DeVivo Companies in East Hartford, CT is seeking full-time technicians for our brand-new location. We are a long-standing Northeast provider of transportation, fleet and equipment solutions with strong OEM partnerships.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, completing repair orders, and responding to road calls. Requirements include a high school diploma or technical training, auto/truck/bus repair experience, a valid driver's license, CDL eligibility, and ASE

Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical school or equivalent.
• Training or experience in automotive, truck or bus repair.
• Driver’s license.
• Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license.
• Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications.
• Adequate English verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
• Performs diagnostic and repair work.
• Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage.
• Makes road calls.
• Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor.
