Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician to join our service team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair a variety of medium and heavy-duty vehicles, and complete repair orders with accuracy while communicating with supervisors and customers.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or technical training, at least one year of automotive, truck, or bus repair experience, tool ownership, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s

• Ability to own and maintain proper hand tools to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct diagnostic and repair work on a variety of vehicle types.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders and parts usage forms accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
• Remain current on all technical and regulatory requirements.
• Perform road service calls as required.
