Thermo King Northeast is hiring a full-time Diesel Technician to join our team in Buffalo, NY. The role covers all shifts with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; NY Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Complete required repair-order and parts-usage documentation.
• Respond to road calls as needed.
• Own and maintain the hand tools required for the role.
• Follow direction from the shop foreman or supervisor.

• Hourly Rate: $20.00 - 45.00

• Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shift Available (Monday through Friday Schedule)

• Skills & Competencies: Proficient with computer operation and usage.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.
