Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive, truck, or bus repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License; NY Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate preferred.
• Own and maintain proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Proficient with computer operation and usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Complete required repair-order and parts-usage documentation.
• Respond to road calls as needed.
• Own and maintain the hand tools required for the role.
• Follow direction from the shop foreman or other supervisor.
