Job summary

DeVivo Companies, a Northeast leader in transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions, seeks a Diesel Technician for our Seekonk, MA location. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on medium and heavy-duty vehicles as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in automotive, truck or bus repair.
• Own and maintain the proper hand tools.
• Proficient with computer operation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy duty vehicles
• Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
• Follow established technical and administrative processes
• Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
• Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
• Perform road service calls as required
