Position: Diesel Mechanic/Technician

I-State Truck Center is seeking Diesel Mechanic/Technician(s) of all skill levels for our Blaine, Minnesota location. We are offering highly competitive wages and are looking for candidates specializing in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU, and more.

Pay Range: Starting at $30.00-$40.00 per hour DOE

Diesel Technicians will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related components in trucks, buses, and heavy-duty vehicles. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and a passion for working with diesel engines.

Job Duties:
  • Repair and maintain diesel engines and components in various vehicles and equipment.
  • Technical degree or certification is a plus.
  • Diagnose complex diesel engine issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding repairs.
  • Ensure quality work and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and submit accurate paperwork.
  • Meet certification requirements.
  • Valid Driver's license required; CDL holders are a bonus.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.
  • Excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines (GHG17 products).
  • Experience with other diesel platforms like Cummins, CAT, International is a plus.
  • Additional mechanical skills such as hydraulics, brakes, suspension, transmissions are desirable.
  • Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
