Job summary

Myles Truck Repair, in partnership with True North Fleet Services, is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to keep heavy‑duty trucks and trailers safe and on the road.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair diesel systems, complete DOT inspections, and document work. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality workmanship, and ongoing professional growth within Compass training.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of diesel/heavy-duty maintenance experience in a fleet, dealership, or independent shop environment preferred.
  • ASE TSeries certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and DOT inspection requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus but not required.

At Myles Truck Repair, with our trusted partner True North Fleet Services, we are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician who takes pride in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and on the road. This position supports fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and quality repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technician who values quality, consistency, teamwork, and continued professional growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
