Job summary

River Valley Cooperative is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform essential repairs and preventive maintenance on the fleet, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will inspect brakes, operate diagnostic tools, and handle electrical, hydraulic, and driveline systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic repair knowledge, and a valid driver's license with Class A CDL preferred.

Qualifications

General repair and maintenance knowledge.
Basic computer skills.
Valid Driver's License; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform basic service and maintenance procedures on fleet vehicles.
Inspect and repair brakes; perform related brake service.
Operate diagnostic computer equipment.
Use welding and fabrication equipment as needed.
Repair and service air conditioning systems.
Understand hydraulics and related equipment operation and repair.
Maintain driveline systems; perform related repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and engine operation.
Attend courses to expand repair knowledge.
Accurately track repairs and time spent on each unit and invoice accordingly.
Maintain safety across sites to meet regulatory and River Valley Cooperative requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
