Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to direct a team of technicians in maintaining heavy-duty trucks and refuse equipment. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable on-site repairs.

You will diagnose complex issues, coach junior staff, and schedule repairs to minimize downtime while ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Experience coordinating repair work and ensuring OSHA safety compliance is a plus.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Class B or higher CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to a group of technicians to ensure safe, efficient repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose complex repair issues and mentor junior technicians.
• Inspect third-party repairs for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize repair work to minimize downtime.
