Job summary

Gothic Landscape is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead a branch shop and support the Fleet Manager in maintaining a fleet of diesel trucks, equipment, and hybrid vehicles. You will own daily shop operations, build a capable technician team, and raise standards for organization, inspection quality, compliance, and performance.

You will plan daily work, recruit and coach technicians, and supervise hands-on technical work while ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely maintenance across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Hands-on diesel repair experience on heavy trucks and equipment.
• Experience as a lead technician, shop foreman, supervisor, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DOT maintenance and California BIT program preferred.
• Ability to organize a shop, manage priorities, and operate with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage daily shop operations and workflow. Ensure safe, organized, and productive workplace.
• Plan and assign daily work across shifts and field service calls to align with technician skills.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop technicians with the Fleet Manager.
• Lead technical work across diesel trucks, equipment, and hybrid vehicles; verify quality and compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and field service to minimize downtime and track due dates.
