Mechanics Hub in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Diesel Shop Foreman to lead a growing maintenance team and oversee daily shop operations. This pivotal leadership role reports to upper management and supports expansion plans across locations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years as a diesel mechanic with strong diagnostic skills, previous foreman or lead technician experience, and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Previous foreman or lead technician experience
• 7+ years diesel mechanic background with strong diagnostic knowledge
• Valid drivers license with clean MVR
• Leadership and people‑management skills
• Experience with Freightliner International or Volvo diesel engines
• Ability to manage team workload, quality standards and schedule
• Knowledge of fleet PM diagnostics and DOT compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead a growing maintenance team and oversee daily shop operations.
• Report directly to upper management and support expansion.
• Establish boundaries and manage mechanics effectively.
• Oversee workload distribution and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate shop activities and travel for operations oversight as needed.
