Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group, is seeking a Diesel Service Journeyman / Mechanic in Fort Mill, SC. This role performs all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair technician under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include skilled mechanical work, troubleshooting major problems, and training Apprentice Technicians while maintaining a clean, safe work area and strong customer relations. Safety-sensitive duties apply.

Competenze

• CDL required and state certifications (A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector).
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience or vocational training.

Mansioni

• Performs skilled mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoots major problems and advises Service Foreman when additional repair work is needed.
• Maintains neat, safe work area and proper handling of tools.
• Trains Apprentice Technicians and assists customers with service needs.
