Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC in Englewood, CO is hiring a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy-duty mechanical repair under supervision, with on-the-job training to achieve Service Journeyman status. You will work on engines, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, cooling, brakes, and more.

This role requires CDL preferred, 3+ years hands-on experience or vocational training, and A/C, Brake and DOT Inspector certifications.

Formación

• CDL preferred and hands-on experience required.
• A/C, brake, and DOT inspector certifications are required.
• Must bring necessary tools for job.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and/or assists in the performance of general mechanical duties.
• Gains experience by working on engine overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, engine tune-up, and general maintenance.
• Works on major components with close supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on minor problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Follows safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
