JX Enterprises in Oak Creek, WI is hiring a Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic to keep customer fleets moving. Shift: Mon–Fri 3:00pm–11:30pm with 15% premium for evening and weekend hours.

The role emphasizes hands-on repairs, diagnostics, and collaboration in a fast-paced, growth-oriented family business. Ideal candidates bring four years of diesel-focused experience and a diesel tech program, plus a state/federal A/C certification; CDL is desirable.

Qualifications

• Typically four (4) years of diesel-focused experience.
• A valid state or federal A/C certification is preferred.
• CDL and other skills are desired by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on customer vehicles, lease units and company inventory.
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean and inspect engines.
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean, overhaul, repair, rebuild and adjust various drivetrain, suspension, electrical, brake, fuel, cooling, steering, emission and hydraulic systems.
• Submit and complete technical reports and documentation.
• Troubleshoot fault codes and check engine lights.
• Assist in rebuild and overhaul of engines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a diplomatic and courteous manner with customers and coworkers.
• Participate in training to expand technical abilities and complete training (including Peterbilt)
