Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician in Wisconsin to keep customer fleets moving. Located in Wausau, the role covers the Northwoods region with a Mon-Fri 3:30pm–Midnight shift and a 15% shift premium for off-peak hours.

You'll inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks, document services, and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment while upholding safety standards and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive repair or heavy-duty truck maintenance preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred, or ability to obtain.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to ensure accurate assessments of maintenance needs.
• Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards, adhering to regulatory obligations.
• Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, or parts.
• Evaluates service and parts options to contain costs, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness in finding effective solutions.
• Controls corrosion and completes winterization procedures to prolong the lifespan of vehicles and ensure responsible use of resources.
• Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs, facilitating transparency and accountability in customer interactions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the safety and well-being of yourself, colleagues, and customers.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business
