Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic to support our Wisconsin fleet from Appleton. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy‑duty components, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while providing reliable service to customers.

The role features day-to-day inspections, repairs, and ongoing learning within a collaborative team. Shift is Monday–Friday with potential evening hours and weekend premiums.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required.
• Experience in automotive repair or heavy‑duty truck maintenance is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or obtainable.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Equivalent experience and formal education will be considered for advanced level roles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and conduct diagnostic tests to assess maintenance needs.
• Test engine, safety, and emission control systems to meet standards.
• Repair or replace major assemblies and components as needed.
• Evaluate service and parts options to manage costs.
• Maintain thorough vehicle service records for customers.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as required to support operations.
