Job summary

You will establish objectives, manage budgets, forecast service needs, and drive service growth while maintaining safety and compliance across the shop and grounds.

Qualifications

• AA in a technical field or equivalent work experience required.
• 3–5 years heavy-duty truck service with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong management skills for strategic planning and program implementation.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer relations.
• Ability to obtain CDL and travel for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Establishes financial and operating objectives for the Branch service department.
• Prepares operating and capital budgets for the Branch service department; reviews regularly.
• Provides management information to executives on service operations and market trends.
• Evaluates service performance against targets and takes corrective actions.
• Analyzes diesel truck market and updates sales/marketing plans.
• Builds relationships with key vendors (Kenworth, PACCAR, engine distributors).
• Interviews and hires diesel technicians and warranty staff; schedules training.
• Ensures shop productivity, safety, and compliance with policies.
