Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Diesel Mechanic – Pump (Service Tech II) in Beaumont, TX. You will perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot and service equipment while delivering safe, reliable service to customers.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma, 3–5 years in pump repair, strong mechanical skills, knowledge of schematics, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps from various sizes and manufacturers.
• Strong mechanical background with engines and pumps.
• Familiarity with schematics and diagrams.
• Ability to own/tools required for the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer sites.
