Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division. You’ll perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot, and demonstrate equipment to customers while traveling to sites.

The role requires a high school diploma with 3–5 years of pump repair experience, strong mechanical knowledge of engines, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years pump repair experience.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics/diagrams.
• Own the tools required for the position.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
