Job summary

YANMAR America is seeking a Technical Support Representative to provide expert technical assistance for industrial engines and off-road equipment in Adairsville, GA. This role serves dealers, OEMs, customers, and internal teams across North America.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and advise on repairs using manuals and diagnostic tools, and document cases in Salesforce. Expect travel of about 10% to dealer sites and events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical/diagnostic/service role.
• Experience with diesel engines or heavy equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic issues.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment like volt/ohm meters or CAN bus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Associates degree or technical certification.
• Bilingual EN/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical support contact for dealers, OEMs, customers, and internal personnel.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide repair recommendations using manuals and tools.
• Assist dealers with machine diagnostics, maintenance recommendations, and standard repair procedures.
• Use Salesforce CRM to document and track technical support cases.
• Support warranty-related inquiries and dealer warranty procedures.
• Utilize remote diagnostic and monitoring tools to resolve field issues.
• Coordinate dealer visits and technical support activities as needed.
• Build and maintain expertise on YANMAR engines and equipment.
• Participate in dealer visits, customer visits, trade shows, and product training.
