Job summary

GFL is seeking a diesel truck technician in Muskego, Wisconsin. The role focuses on safely operating, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure safe operation.

The position offers competitive pay, paid training, a 4 on-10 shift (3pm-1am, Tue-Fri), and overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and 401(k) after 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.Paid Training! Shift: 4 10's. 3pm-1am Tue-Fri. OT after 40hrs worked.
