Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Muskego, WI is seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on company-owned or leased equipment to ensure reliable operation.

The role features a 4-10 shift (3pm-1am Tue-Fri) with OT after 40 hours, competitive hourly pay of $30-$40, paid training, and a benefits package starting after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining diesel refuse trucks.
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Willingness to work 4 10’s (3pm-1am Tue-Fri) with OT after 40 hours

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Competitive Pay

$30-$40/hr. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.
