Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy duty vehicles. The position requires a CDL or the ability to obtain one, plus relevant certifications and tools. Competitive pay and bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Two years or more of training/experience in repair work preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred; ability to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to clarify the nature of the issue.
• Utilizes Shop Management System for documentation.
• Follows safety, DOT, MOT guidelines and company policies.
