Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas/diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance
• At least 2 years of relevant classroom and work experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred

Note: You must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months, pass drug, physical, road tests, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools
• Identify root causes and perform necessary repairs
• Replace defective components
• Maintain facility and interact with customers/drivers
• Utilize shop management systems and documentation
• Follow safety and compliance guidelines
• Support operational duties as needed
