Diesel Mechanic Technician - Sign On Bonus

Join Miller Transportation Group as a Diesel Mechanic Technician and enjoy a $2,500 sign-on bonus ($1,000 after 30 days and $1,500 after 90 days).

We are hiring immediately for our Miller Truck Leasing division in NE and S Philadelphia, PA, with opportunities to join a business that values family and care. We operate over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops across KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH, with over 8,000 trucks on the road.

Diesel Mechanic Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using OEM software, following warranty procedures.
• Repair or replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.

Requirements:

• Experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Knowledge of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• Valid CDL or willingness to obtain one with our trainer's assistance.
• Hand tools.
• Experience with refrigeration units is a plus but not required.
• Availability to work either:
• South Philly - 2nd shift: Tuesday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm, Saturday 7am-3:30pm.
• Northeast Philly - 2nd shift: Tuesday-Friday 2:30pm-11pm, Saturday 8am-4:30pm.
